About Aaron LeBeau

Dr. Aaron LeBeau is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center. The focus of his work is on antibody and cell-based therapies for prostate cancer. His research centers on the identification of specific antibodies for prostate cancer-associated proteins using human antibodies, and the development of novel agents to “see and treat” cancer by selectively targeting specific classes of cancer-associated proteases. He and his team are primarily focused on treating treatment-resistant prostate cancer and triple-negative breast cancer by using small-molecule and antibody-based inhibitors. Dr. LeBeau has developed nearly two dozen novel antibodies for cancer-associated targets, including one currently undergoing clinical evaluation as an imaging agent in men with advanced prostate cancer. Dr. LeBeau received his PhD from Johns Hopkins University.
