In Celebration of the Life of John Murtha

The Prostate Cancer Foundation celebrates the life and contributions of Representative John P. Murtha, the longtime congressman from Pennsylvania and the first Vietnam War combat Veteran elected to Congress. Representative Murtha was a long-time supporter of cancer research for the Department of Defense. He was also a proponent for early screening and detection of cancer. His work will continue to save lives and families for years to come. We are saddened by his passing and send heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and constituents.
