Itsy Bitsy Eenie Weenie “Teanies” - Healthy Cocktails That Cure!
Yes. summer's here: hot sweltering days and balmy evenings. Traditionally, people drink Cherry Coke, slushies, sugary lemonade and root beer floats to cool off. But I believe in the healing effects of food and drink. With all the focus on health and preventative benefits of “tea totaling" (as opposed to the opposite, teetotaling ), I've created a new genre for summer: “Teanies”. What are Teanies? A delicious, energizing and healthy play on the martini. Rather than use gin or vodka as the base of the drink, I use green, white, and black tea. I jazz up each flavor up with a juice, berry, or herb that has additional antioxidant and healing power. Fun, Flavorful, Chilling and Filling. Drink a Teanie every day, cut back on alcohol - and you're ready for that yellow polka dot bikini!
