 Los Angeles Angel, Torii Hunter, is considered one of the best fielding outfielders in baseball history. The athletic center fielder brings both a powerful bat as well as speed to any roster, as the 2008 season marked his eighth consecutive Gold Glove Award. Hunter is also a two time all-star selection (2002 and 2007).
After turning down a contract to play with the Minnesota Twins, Hunter signed a three-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheimon August 2007. Hunter is a National co-chair of the PCF Home Run Challenge.

 The 2009 season marks the tenth season for Mike Scioscia as the manager of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.Scioscia won the American League Major League Manager of the Year Award after winning the 2002 American League pennant followed by the World Series Championship against the San Francisco Giants.The following years after 2002, Scioscia went on to win four American League West division titles, with 100 wins in 2008 alone.
Scioscia has the longest tenure of any manager in the American League, and is the third longest tenured in MLB.On January 2009, Scioscia was given a contract extension that will run through 2018.
