| Player Rep: Derrek Lee |
Cubs slugger, and a National co-chair of the PCF Home Run Challenge, Derrek Lee is a perennial Triple Crown threat who in 2005 won the National League batting title. Since the 2000 season, Lee has played in at least 145 games every season, including a team high 155 for the 2008 season. His homer total ranks fourth amongst National League first basemen for this decade.
Lee has hit at least 20 homers in each of his last seven seasons. He is also a two-time Rawlings Gold Glove recipient, and holds a career .994 fielder’s percentage at first base. In 2005, Lee became the first Cubs first baseman to be named to the All-Star team, and the first Cubs first baseman to start an All-Star Game since 1965.

| PCF Team Manager: Lou Piniella |
Lou Piniella is the current manager of the Chicago Cubs and also ranks fourteenth on the list for all-time wins by a manager.Piniella led the Cincinnati Reds to the 1990 World Series Championship, was named the American League Manager of the Year in 1995 and 2001, and is the current recipient of the 2008 National League Manager of the Year Award.Led by Piniella, the Cubs were able to clinch the 2008 Central Division title, with the best record in the National League.But, the Cubs fell short to the Dodgers in the 2008 National League Division Series.
When Piniella was a child, he played in the same league as Tony La Russa, who is the current manager of the St. Louis Cardinals.Growing up, Piniella thought of La Russa as his older brother, and to this day they remain close friends.
