One Man Scramble
The Prostate Cancer Foundation and One Man Scramble, Inc. have teamed up to fight prostate cancer by raising money for research through golf.
Introducing a unique, fun, and challenging new event called the One Man Scramble™. After 4 years and over 12,000 competitive rounds played in California and Tennessee, this event is going national in 2009. Amateur golfers (Men and Sr. Men) will shoot their lowest scores ever by playing the trademarked “Double Mulligan” format — where they will get 2 mulligans on every hole. The format is faster than a 4-man scramble and plays in threesomes.
All One Man Scramble participants will help raise money to fight prostate cancer — $5 from every player’s entry fee will be donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. As part of each player’s tee prize, players will receive a light blue “awareness” ribbon. Golfers will help increase prostate cancer awareness in their area by wearing the ribbon on their golf cap, shirt, or jacket.
