The game went on for 33 hours, 15 minutes and 45 seconds beating the old record of 32 hours 29 minutes 26 seconds set in Saint Louis last September.  The two teams representing Long Island MSBL were the Brooklyn Dodgers and The New York Giants. The game went 99 innings and the score was 155 to 136 with the Giants winning.
