Prostate Cancer Foundation CEO Leslie Michelson and Dr. Paul Lange, chairman of the Department of Urology at the University of Washington and author of Prostate Cancer for Dummies, participated in national TV and radio interviews via satellite to raise awareness about prostate cancer and raise funds for prostate cancer research. Gen-Probe, a biotech company, sponsored the media tour as well as a survey that highlighted the public’s current confusion about the different types of screening tests available for detecting prostate cancer.
